Poll #988812 Vic-Goth fashion needs

Where do you get most of your Victorian/Gothic clothing?

I buy from Gothic designers; I might do a bit of customising too
I'm pretty creative; I tend to customise stuff I buy
I make some of my own, but buy or customise to get the more complex stuff
No problem, I make all my own

What type of Victorian/Gothic clothing do you most wish you could buy?

Work clothing - Stylish and gothic and yet smart and appropriate for work. Can't I look Victorian/Gothic AND promote-able?
Different clothing - Victorian/Gothic clothing can be so samey. Don't you designers have any new/alternative ideas?
Comfortable clothing - I want to look and feel just as fabulous at home, or on an informal night out, as I do in full corsetted costume.
Good quality clothing - You know, I might actually be prepared to pay a little more if someone would produce something of a proper designer quality.

Feel free to add commments if you want to say more!

i've voted and stuff, but how has this got so many responses when there are very few members on here- seems a bit odd!

Personally, I have stuff made and buy stuff to customize a little. I am prepared to pay for something good, I just had a corset properly made to measure with several fittings and I am saving for a bustle skirt to match. I will be pying over £200 for this skirt.

generally though I use one particular lady who is fab and very well priced and always comes up trumps with my design wants :)

Thanks very much, that's very useful!

To my delight, I've discovered that I can crosspost the same poll on multiple communities and the results come up as a total of every answer given, everywhere! It's a mathematician's dream, really. I'm having all sorts of geeky fun with the statistics.
